PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· Masters
with 10 - 12 years Media Relations and Public relation experience
preferably in telecom sector.
· Significant
experience in media relations and crisis management, spokesperson training,
strategic marketing alliances, special events, etc.,
· Success
representing public relations on cross-functional teams developing strategies
and tactics for integrated marketing plans
· Experience
working with industry analysts to facilitate briefings and educational events
· Experience
"translating" technology for varying audiences
· Demonstrated
analytical and conceptual problem-solving ability; oral and written
communication skills, including presentation skills
· Thorough
knowledge of Microsoft Office products
· Salary
Package for this position is 150k PKR
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist
GM Public Outreach & Corporate Communications to achieve the following
Corporate
· Public
Information, Outreach & Awareness for building, promoting and sustaining a
dynamic image of the Company;
· Engagement
& Partnership with Media for promoting Company’s image, message and
business interests;
· Engagement
& Partnership with External Stakeholders in public and private sectors for
promoting Company’s business interests, image and message;
· Strategic
Communications with both External and Internal Target Audiences and
Stakeholders for corporate profile building and message enhancement;
· Effective
Crisis Communications management.
· Serve
as a point of contact for the Company’s internal and external queries,
information and communications;
· Assist
with development and implementation of strategic goals, priorities and
deliverables for Public Outreach & Corporate Communications for the
Company;
· Coordinate
the formulation and implementation of outreach and communications agenda at
national and international levels;
· Identify,
engage, and coordinate with target media, groups, partners and stakeholders on
Company’s information and messaging;
· Deliver
timely and accurate Marketing & Information Bulletin (MIBs) to all
stakeholders;
· Monitor,
collect, collate and disseminate internally and externally all media
coverage and reportage pertaining to the Company, as appropriate;
· Liaise
with media and target groups to provide timely and accurate information on the
Company, in close coordination with PR Agency;
· Assist
with developing and updating Company’s outreach and
corporate communications materials, media resources, events and activities
goals;
· Assist
with coordination of meetings with media, partners and stakeholders;
· Assist
with information and communications needs assessments to identify gaps in
response and strategy;
· Collaborate
with all stakeholders to ensure outreach, information and communications
synergy on all Company activities;
· Support
outreach and communications initiatives including teleconferences, meetings,
training workshops, conferences, public events, campaigns, consultations etc;
· Provide
scheduled or on-demand information and corporate communications products and
services;
· Support
the development and coordination of Company presentations and communications
for internal and external audiences;
· Work
with target groups, partners and stakeholders to integrate information and
corporate communications products and activities into the Company’s overall
Public
· Outreach
and Corporate communications plan;
· Streamline
repeatable processes for recurring inquiries to provide consistent messages and
information, as well as establish searchable repository for all internal and
external communications inquiries;
· Support
Company’s Public Outreach & Corporate Communications relationships,
liaisons, processes and systems;
· Track
news coverage of the company in traditional and new media, and help develop
responses appropriately;
· Develop
communications and information materials, including editing and/or developing
news releases, media advisories, reports, talking points etc and attend
meetings/conferences;
· Assist
with development of public outreach & corporate communications goals,
objectives, strategies and plans;
· Building
and maintaining excellent relations with media and other stakeholders;
· Delivery
of assignments on time and with accuracy;
· Ensuring
highest quality standards in all information products;
· Compliance
with and execution of public outreach & corporate communications plans and
strategies according to deadlines and budgets;
· Manage
and evaluate all reporting staff.
· Build
and maintain a dynamic profile of
PTCL across target media spectrums and
audiences;
· Foster
Company relations and business interests with public and private stakeholders.
